Background

Anthony graduated in 1995 with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Aberdeen University. Since then, he has completed an MSc in Environmental Psychology at Surrey University. His MSc dissertation is in the process of being written up for publication, and was presented at the EAESP 12th General Meeting in Oxford in July 1999. His academic interests are in the social psychology of environmental attitudes, risk perception, and environmental education.

Anthony spent the year of 1999 carrying out research into the social aspects of sustainable wastewater management, specifically greywater systems and composting toilets. Various publications have come out of this project, including one which won the "Young Researcher" prize at the IAPS conference in Paris.

Current Research

While retaining active involvement in the wastewater project, Anthony is now working on the EPSRC/DETR 'LINK' project: Overcoming Client and Market Resistance to Pre-Fabrication and Standardisation in Housing for which he will be looking at the potential socio-cultural barriers to standardisation and pre-fabrication

Anthony is also responsible for designing and maintaining the SEARCH website
