Teaching and Assessment

Teaching is carried out on a unitised basis (similar to a modular system) and students will learn in a variety of teaching situations from formal lectures to tutorials, workshops and group activities. Units are assessed using a variety of methods as appropriate, including end of semester examinations, continuous assessment, case studies, oral presentations and projects.

Good communicators are in high demand in business and industry today and the School makes sure that producing graduates with these skills is always a high priority. Oral presentations and report writing are two areas on which we particularly concentrate.
