Statement: My work incorporates a study of female form and the use of text within art. The work has progressed naturally through investigation into what can be perceived as ‘feminine’- resulting in refined and subtle compositions of shape and form. Text was used alongside images with keys words being manipulated, often into abstract shapes. Etching gives the work an elegant feel that is further enhanced by the use of delicate tones and flowing materials.
