Statement:
In my work I have endeavoured to explore the aspect of reality, drawing from imagery from my surroundings and from the world of material and cultural consumerism. I have used photography as my tool to record and diary the everyday facts of things observed, keeping immediacy to my subjects through colour and reaction, and by using found objects, surfaces, experimentation, juxtaposing print, paint, collage and photography through various surfaces to suggest how these aspects both influence and manipulate the average person.
