Statement
My work is largely based upon memory and time. From a highly personal viewpoint I integrate many clandestine thoughts and experiences into my work. At the same time I incorporate found imagery and collected photography, to narrate imaginary stories, and explore the idea that sensation, or memory can be easily acquired. I am fascinated by concepts of memory, and the grey area that exists there somewhere between fact and fiction. I try to convey this in my work but it’s so elusive, really I suppose I’m searching for something that exists as much in my imagination, as it does in reality. |
