Statement: This project explores the learning process of an apprentice tradesman, to enable effective communication with their institution whilst out on site. The “Terrain” Unit aims to increase the knowledge and understanding of safety practices, encouraging the apprentice to think more about safety situations on site and help themselves become more safety conscience, and in effect better tradesmen. The Terrain Unit will help improve communication between the college and the employer, illustrating the apprentices’ performance. Additionally, the Terrain Unit will help establish a greater safety culture within the company.
