Title: Food Allergies

Statement:
The aim of this project was to create a product that will aid food allergy sufferers make safe choices when shopping for food. In the UK almost 50% of the population have a food allergy or intolerance. Their main concerns are being unsure of what is and what isn’t safe for them to eat, due to poor packaging information, the burden and time spent having to check ingredients and the general lack of awareness for allergy sufferers. It is these problems that the product addresses, giving the user the confidence to do their shopping without worrying about picking up a food which could be life threatening.
