These pages were written by Professor Paul Spicker, who is Grampian Chair of Public Policy. in the Aberdeen Business School and Director of the Centre for Public Policy and Management. The School's taught courses bring together the disciplines of Politics, Law, Management, and Economics, with specialists in public policy, social policy, European and international policy. Our principal degree course is the postgraduate Masters in Public Administration.

The Robert Gordon University undertakes applied policy research in a wide range of fields. Public policy research in the university is collaborative and mutli-disciplinary. It serves the community through

• policy-related work for government and local authorities;
• work relating to disadvantage and social inclusion, including for example work on poverty, homelessness and exclusion; and
• support and advice given to local agencies.
