About the School of Health Sciences

The School of Health Sciences is part of RGU’s Faculty of Health and Social Care. The faculty is located at the University’s Garthdee Campus which is situated on the banks of the River Dee, on the outskirts of Aberdeen.

Facilities

The School of Health Sciences has access to state-of-the-art teaching and clinical skills facilities as well as top-of-the-range IT equipment. The human performance laboratory, which has a sophisticated three dimensional motion analysis system, is of particular interest to students who undertake the MSc Physiotherapy (Physical Therapy) Pre-Registration. The cutting edge clinical skills centre, fully equipped practical rooms and modern sport centre (RGU:SPORT) also provide students with a head start in their Physical Therapy careers.

Teaching

Students at the School enjoy input from a wide range of health professionals from within the Faculty of Health and Social Care. The School is committed to successful working partnerships with professional and practice areas throughout Scotland and also has close links with Alumni across the world. Through the close involvement of employers and practitioners in our course planning, delivery and practice supervision, the MSc Physiotherapy (Physical Therapy) Pre-Registration will equip you for employment in a wide range of health care settings.
