The JISC Legal Information Service paper "Intellectual Property and Electronic Theses" contains information about License Agreements and includes a sample declaration form for depositing a thesis in a digital repository.

Some institutions that have established collections of ETDs in institutional repositories have amended their existing documentation relating to the submission of theses to take account of the requirements of the electronic environment. The Robert Gordon University is currently considering the adoption of such an adapted form for use by students.
