Let us now end this section with some general practical guidance on how to plan and implement an evaluation programme and illustrating this with two case studies - the formative and initial summative evaluation of a Napier University, Edinburgh, Cultural Studies module that took place in Session 1997-98 and the evaluation of a major curriculum development project that took place in Scotland's Grampian Region in 1990-91.
