Session Information

Poster Sessions

Posters will be exhibited during the Conference. Proposal for posters should be submitted to the organisers via our contact page.

Poster Presentation Guidelines

Preparation: When preparing your poster, please keep in mind that your goal is to attract the attention of people mingling around with a good topic and a visually interesting presentation. Your poster must be clearly displayed, readable from a distance and present enough information about your research to engage the interest of attendees and be easily reviewed in a few minutes. Hopefully an informed one-to-one discussion about your research will follow. Of course, for this to happen, one or more authors must be present during the session to answer questions and discuss the research.

Format: Each poster presenter will have a display area approximately 2m wide by 2m high. You should format your presentation to make use of this space, keeping in mind the goals of the Poster session as indicated above.

Font: Arial is the recommended font and it is suggested a minimum size of 36 points for the title; 30 points for headings; and 24 points for the body text. Equipment: Although we will provide you with the tools (adhesive Velcro etc.) for hanging your poster, it is recommended that you bring your own to prevent any problems.

Special Sessions

Academy of Marketing Special Interest Groups and Regional Groups will meet during the conference. Applications for special session slots should be made via our contact us page. Please take note of the submission guidelines on the call for papers page.

Please note that the extended deadline for submissions is 17th March 2008 and the latest feedback will be 30th April 2008.
