This year’s conference is organised by the Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. The Conference Chairs are Professor Bill Donaldson and Andrew Turnbull.
The Conference venue is the Aberdeen Business School, at the Garthdee Campus. This is a stunning light and airy building, designed by Lord Norman Foster, and will provide exhibitors with plenty of space and access to delegates. Refreshments will be served in the exhibition areas. We will provide you with a table and 2 chairs, and will allow you approximately 6 square metres to provide space for your displays. This is a new building and there are only a few stands that will have access to a back wall. Please let me know if this is a requirement when booking. We can provide an electrical connection to the majority of exhibition stands, and wireless internet is available in the exhibition area.
We have kept our packages in line with 2007, but this year the accommodation is all off campus and not included in the package. The main package will cover:

The AM2007 organisers were delighted at the response from publishers in the provision of track prizes and other sponsorship, and we hope to be able to offer the same range of prizes in 2008. We are happy to insert flyers etc into our conference bags for you. The cost is £100 + VAT.
Each exhibitor will have a ¼ page insert in the programme, this can either be text or a graphic. We have space for a limited number of full page advertisements available for an additional cost of £250 + VAT.
As in previous years, the main conference will commence after lunch on Tuesday 8th July and the academic sessions will end at 1700 approximately on Thursday 10th July. We recommend therefore that you aim to have your stand ready by lunchtime on Tuesday 8th and that it is dismantled on Thursday 10th after the afternoon tea break. Please note that neither the Academy of Marketing nor Robert Gordon University can be held responsible for the security of the items on your stands and strongly recommend that you do not leave any valuable items unattended at any time.
Your exhibition materials should be delivered no earlier than Monday 7th July and collected no later than Friday 11th July 2008.
